The radio was a huge invention in itself. It was a definite turning point in history, but it had an even greater effect on World War II. Governments involved in the war used it as a tool to spread propaganda, war codes, and some used it to boost the morale of the soliders.Through radio shows and music that was broadcasted, the radio effected almost everybody one way or another. Germany used the radio to persuade their citizens that what they were doing was right and good to get the German economy back on track. America, on the other hand, used the radio to motivate their people and counteract the German movement.
"The present great struggle has taught us increasingly that freedom of person and security of property anywhere in the world depend upon the security of the rights and obligations of liberty and justice everywhere in the world." - Franklin D. Roosevelt, February 23, 1942
